Missouri Training Opportunities

Contact training@more.net about scheduling a hands-on online resources training session for staff at your organization! Full-service members are only responsible for trainer travel expenses. Basic service members would have a per person fee in addition to trainer travel expenses.

Online training sessions are available at no charge for all Full and Basic MOREnet Members.

EBSCO regional training sessions are available at no charge for all Basic and Full Service Members.

In this 1-hour training you will learn the basics of using EBSCO eBooks. We will review how to access EBSCO eBooks, searching and browsing, reading EBSCO eBooks online, downloading chapters, checking out titles, placing holds, and more. We will also take a look at eBooks in the new EBSCO mobile app which offers a new interface and easy process for reading and checking out eBooks on mobile devices.

In this 60-minute session we will review Explora for High Schools, an easy to use search platform for that enables students to search or browse for age-appropriate magazine articles, eBooks, images, videos, and more. You will also learn about Science Reference Center, a comprehensive research database that provides easy access to a multitude of full-text science-oriented content. We will also review the high school resources in LearningExpress Library that help students with basic academic subjects, preparation for college entrance, military, and AP exams, computer skills, career information, and more.
